A three-stage Numberless artifact in which coarse archival paper resists continuous oil-pastel deposition. Successive blue, orange, and final high-force chromatic actions turn that resistance into an irreversible record of material confrontation; the trajectile itself does not fail.
Nameless Numberless Two belongs to the parallel Numberless chronology of Somacentric Trajectilery. Its designation does not mean that it was literally the second artifact produced. It records the fact that the work was formally restored to the archive after the principal numbered sequence had already advanced, preserving delayed recognition without inventing a false chronological position.
The first blue trajectile was successful, but the coarse ARCHES Huile surface recorded it only intermittently. Oil pastel contacted the high points of the pronounced grain while bridging many of its recesses. The movement remained structurally legible, but the material deposit was sparse and discontinuous. The limitation therefore belongs to the substrate–medium relation, not to the trajectile itself.
An orange trajectile followed as an independent challenge to the same support rather than as a repair of the blue state. It again registered in fragments, confirming that the interrupted deposition was a consistent response of the recording apparatus rather than a defect peculiar to one color or one passage.
The final stage changed the relation between body and support from testing to confrontation. A full-speed, high-force multi-color intervention accumulated across the sheet until the earlier blue structure could no longer be read autonomously. That burial is irreversible, but it is not correction: each stage remains materially present within the final artifact as part of one escalating history.
The three process photographs are essential provenance evidence. They preserve the blue state, the independent orange challenge, and the final dense surface as successive moments of a single evolving artifact. They do not constitute separate works and do not replace the surviving physical sheet.
Within Somacentric Trajectilery, Nameless Numberless Two separates archival permanence from recording fidelity. ARCHES Huile provides a durable cotton support while resisting continuous deposition. The work therefore demonstrates that a trajectile may proceed with full integrity even when the material apparatus records it incompletely. What varies is the negotiation among body, medium, and support—and the degree to which that passage remains materially legible.
