Arteanity is the overarching creative framework developed by Viktor Genel for examining how creative force enters structures, systems, materials, actions, and traces—and what becomes possible when assigned identities, functions, or predetermined forms are interrupted.
Arteanity names the larger framework within which several apparently different bodies of work are documented as parts of one continuing inquiry. It is not a style, medium, or single corpus.
The lineage moves through Primordial Mechanisms, Literary Interruption, Deutilization, MeconoMorph, and Somacentric Trajectilery. Across these changes of medium and tempo, the recurring concern is the relationship between creative force and the structures that assign identity, function, or expected outcome.
Some Arteanity operations act after assignment has become established. Deutilization confronts an object already captured by practical use. Others act before assignment has become sovereign. Somacentric Trajectilery uses Preutilization to protect an emerging material event from a predetermined image or destination. The archive uses the term Arteanity to hold these directions together without reducing them to a single visual category.
