A serialized 1 Mecon hard-enamel coin, issued in an edition of fifty and redeemable for one full 72-card Mecon Orb or two smaller Mecon Orbs.
The MeconoMorph Genesis Coin — 1 Mecon is a serialized, two-inch hard-enamel artifact created in an edition of fifty.
Each coin carries the denomination 1 Mecon and a unique number from 01 through 50.
Within the MeconoMorph system, 1 Mecon corresponds to the right to receive one complete 72-card Mecon Orb or two smaller Mecon Orbs, constructed from business cards or other selected card-format material.
The denomination is system-specific: it identifies the coin’s transformational capacity rather than conventional monetary value.
The coin establishes a functional relationship between an independently held object and the larger MeconoMorph system.
It may remain as a discrete artifact or be redeemed for one complete 72-card Mecon Orb or two smaller Mecon Orbs, constructed from business cards or other selected card-format material.
Through redemption, the coin initiates a sequence from coin to Orb to larger formation.
The resulting Orb may remain independent, be given or displayed, or enter a larger MeconoMorph manifestation. The coin therefore functions not merely as a representation of MeconoMorph, but as an access mechanism linking a participant, transformed card material, a geometric unit, and the expandable system.
The edition is divided into three documented numbering groups:
Genesis Circle, numbers 01–10;
Patron Coins, numbers 11–30;
and Collector Coins, numbers 31–50.
These designations record the original structure of the edition without determining the later condition or use of an individual coin.
