Nameless Number Five closes Genesis, the first five-record corpus of Somacentric Trajectilery. It retains the 8.5 × 5.5-inch SuFly sketch-paper support of the preceding Genesis works while replacing their soft pastel with Sakura Expressionist oil pastel. The change is material rather than stylistic: the firmer, wax-bound medium produces a different form of resistance, deposition, and overlap.
The artifact’s central condition is a group of tight, overlapping closed loops. Repeated passage over existing tracks compresses pigment into dense interlocking nodes. These nodes were not planned as compositional anchors; they are material concentrations produced as the trajectile crossed and returned through its own developing record.
Equally consequential are the untouched white intervals between the colored masses. In the lower-right area, a sharply bounded crescent of paper separates adjacent trajectories. Because this void is produced by the limits of the deposited marks rather than drawn as an independent form, the exposed substrate becomes an active structural interval, visually pressing the pigmented regions apart.
At close range, the oil pastel preserves the friction of the event as low relief. Blue deposits sit above retained orange ridges, while the tooth of the paper remains visible in recessed gaps. The resulting fractured edges and pigment islands register small interruptions in pressure and motion without blending them away.
