In the archive’s current presentation, a red-pink trajectory gathers into a broad central loop while a brown trajectory bends alongside and around it.
Both extend beyond the field, but their closest passage is defined by a narrow, curved channel of unmarked paper.
The channel is the artifact’s most consequential spatial event. It is not drawn as a third form; it appears because the two pastel trajectories approach one another without closing the interval between them.
The white substrate therefore ceases to read as passive background. Bounded by pigment, it becomes an active separation—a structural void that seems to compress, redirect, and counterbalance the colored masses.
The soft pastel records friction with the paper tooth as broken, granular deposits rather than continuous, polished bands. That material discontinuity preserves the resistance of the making event. The central loop acquires localized weight through recurrence and overlap, while the brown counterform distributes that weight across the sheet.

Within the early corpus, the artifact is notable for an equilibrium that was not plotted in advance: it emerged from the encounter of bodily movement, pastel, substrate, and the limits of the sheet.
