Nameless Number One

The initiating artifact of Somacentric Trajectilery. It begins the Genesis Corpus and records the discipline at the point of its emergence.

Nameless Number One is the initiating artifact of Somacentric Trajectilery. It was produced before the discipline’s terminology, procedures, and later material investigations had been fully articulated; the artifact came first, and the developing framework followed.

Across the sheet, differently colored pastel trajectories overlap while remaining visibly unblended. The record preserves the individual passages and their encounters without yet imposing the more explicit rules found in later artifacts. Subsequent works would examine collision, penetration, retreat, material resistance, two-handed application, and orientation more deliberately.

Within the Genesis Corpus, Nameless Number One establishes the documentary point from which those later developments can be traced. They should not, however, be read backward as conditions that had already been formalized at the moment of its production.
